Question: How do I sign up for dialaround1010.com?
Answer: Use our on-line sign up and upon completion of the form, you will be given the 10-10 number that you may use immediately.
Or, call our Operators at 1-800-297-9533 between 8 am-6pm Pacific Standard Time Monday thru Friday or 9 am to 3 pm PST on Saturday.
They will register you for service and give you the 10-10 number to use immediately.


Question: Why do I have to register for dialaround1010 before I can use it?
Answer: If you use the dial around before registering, you will be billed at a much higher rate and we assume no liability for that misuse.

Question: What if someone in my household forgets to dial the 10-10 number before making a call. Will I still receive Dialaround1010.com great low rates?
Answer: No. Please be sure that your number(s) are registered in the system on the number you are calling from.

Question: Can I use your 10-10 numbers to make International calls?
Answer: Yes. Simply dial the 10-10 number, then 011 + country code + city code + the number.

Question: Do your calling plans have any minimums per call?
Answer: No. We offer a 6-second billing with a 30 second minimum on all state-to-state and instate calls, however international calls are billed in 1 minute increments.

Question: Will I receive my bill with my local phone bill?
Answer: No. You will receive a separate itemized bill from Primus Telecommunications, Inc.

Question: What are the billing increments?
Answer: ALL domestic calls both instate and state-to-state are billed in 6 second increments with a 30 second minimum. That means that you would have a minimum charge of about 3 cents on any answered call billed at 5.5 cents. Since we divide up every minute into ten pieces or 6 second increments, you are only billed for the portion of the minute that you use. International calls are billed in one-minute increments.

Question: Are the rates higher to call to wireless or mobile phones?
Answer: Within the USA, calls to wireless or mobile phones bill at the same state to state or instate rate.
Please be aware that calls to mobile or wireless phones in many countries bill at a higher rate. If you look at the international chart and there is no special rate for mobile phones, then they will bill the same as a land line call.



Question: Which carrier is actually providing the service?
Answer: All calls are routed on 100% digital fiber optic lines provided by a Tier 1 major carrier.


Question: Will I receive a paper statement if I pay by credit card?
Answer: Yes. And after the first billing with us, you may request to view your account on-line and we will provide you with info on how to do that.


Question: Is all the information on the website correct and up-to-date?
Answer: Absolutely! We are constantly working on improving the website and looking for ways to serve you better.

Question: Who do I call for billing questions and/or customer service?
Answer: Call Primus customer service at1-800-393-1200. Customer Service is available 24 hours per day- 7 days a week.

Question: How will I get my personal toll free number once I order it?
Answer: After you have requested it, call us back in 3-5 business days and we will have it for you.

Question: Do you have online billing and how do I sign up for it?
Answer: YES! Once you get your first phone bill from us, you will have an account number which will enable you to set up online billing.
Instructions on how-to set up online billing will be provided as well.


Question: What is the rate to Alaska and Hawaii?
Answer: The rate to Alaska and Hawaii on Dialaround1010.com is .08 per minute.

Question: Are there any "gotchas" I should be aware of?
Answer: No. Our rates are good 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have no sign up fees, no cancellation fees, no low usage fees, no special fees to enjoy our low international rates, no Picc fees on residential service, no "special charges" and no access line charges. The one charge outside of your calls is the USF which is charged by every long distance carrier on your out-of-state and international calls only. (More info on USF next question)

Question: What is the USF?
Answer: All telecommunications carriers are required to contribute to the Federal Universal Service Fund (also known as USF) which provides communications services to schools, rural health care facilities, and certain other entities.The FCC imposed USF (Universal Service Fund) Click here for the current USF will be charged on all state-to-state and international calls.

Question: Can I get a toll free number with Dialaround1010.com?
Answer: Yes. It will be billed at exactly the same rates as the Dialaround1010 plan with no additional monthly cost.

Question: Once I have the 10-10 number for Dialaround1010.com, can I use it on other phones?
Answer: You can only use the 10-10 number on the lines that you have REGISTERED. If you use it on any phone without pre-registering it, that phone number will be billed at a minimum of $2.17 per minute from USBI.

Question: What are the payment options?
Answer: You may pay by check, Mastercard or Visa. You may also arrange auto-check debits by calling customer service at
800 393-3000 or email them at usacs@isterra.com


Question: What is the minimum charge for any connected call?
Answer: .03 cents.

Question: Can I use this service from Hawaii?
Answer: Sorry. Dialaround1010.com is not available from Hawaii however we recommend Acceris as they have great rates from Hawaii.

Question: Can I use Dialaround1010.com from my cell phone?
Answer: If you have a land line you can sign up your land line for Dialaround1010.com (whether you use it or not). Then add your wireless phone(s) and enjoy the same rates. Dialing sequence is a little different as you will need to dial into our Access Number.

Question: What are the US rates if I dial into the toll free number using my cell phone?
Answer: All US calls from your cell phone using the toll free access will be 7.9 cents per min. (In-state as well as state-to-state)
